Happy April Fool's Day, 2014. As seems to be the case these days, this post is long overdue and the first I've written in a while. Things are going alright, Laura made it thru another big surgery on March 4th, and she was well enough that we followed thru on our planned vacation to the island of Kauai from 3/22 - 3/30. It was a great trip, especially fun for our ten year old son Jonathan.
Musically, today marks the beginning of a radio initiative I am pursuing with Tinderbox Music. This Minneapolis based company will promote my "Nothing Hid" record to 300 independent radio stations across the United States. I am not sure what to expect in terms of "results," but am excited to think that, at the very least, the record will be played and receive exposure in a number of markets across the country. Short of packing up my car with a guitar and a bunch of records, this approach represents my best opportunity to get the record "out there" and hope it reaches some receptive ears.
I hope everyone is doing well as Spring kicks in. I have a show at Honey later this month, am working on a few new songs, and looking forward to some sunnier and warmer days ahead.
Take care, everybody...
